The Park is home to many types of bird. A quick walk around the lake usually reveals various waterfowl, heron and cormorants. In the past there have been black swans and a healthy Grebe population.
Recently the RSPB has conducted bird spotting events, usually on the south side of the lake. Here is a list of what has been spotted:
