The 1951 exhibition was held between May and September in the Sub Tropical Garden, featuring forty four pieces by artists including Andriessen, Bill, Butler,, Charoux, Despiau, Dobson, Epstein, Giacometti, Gill, Henning, Hepworth, Lambert, Lipchitz, Maillol, Manzu, Meunier, Moore, Pevsner, Rodin and Vogel.
